Tammie Joo
Founder of Soriel Music Academy and Prime Education
As a successful violinist, throughout her career, Tammie has performed extensively and frequently across Southern California as a soloist with numerous orchestras and as a chamber musician. As a graduate of CSUF, Tammie has worked with a number of students in academic and private settings for the past twenty-plus years. She loves teaching and finds it both energizing and intellectually stimulating. She aims to teach her students to be excellent musicians and performers, and she is committed to training them for the breadth of roles they will encounter in their future careers.
Her passion for teaching also extends to the field of education. In 2019, with a world-spread pandemic that disconnected everyone from one another, she opened up a tutoring academy in hopes of providing education services even without face-to-face contact. Since then, the academy has been successfully providing different tutoring services.
Prime Education absolutely helped my child to become an academically strong student prior to moving up to secondary school. Also their tutors worked together as a team during ISEE prep, which made Secondary school application process a lot less stressful for my child. Prime is highly recommended to any motivated student!!
