Kevin is a passionate and dedicated tutor with extensive experience helping students excel in mathematics. Tutoring since high school, he has developed a strong ability to guide students through a wide range of math subjects, including Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Calculus. With a perfect score on both the math portion of the SAT and the SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test, Kevin possesses a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and takes pride in making even the most complex topics accessible and enjoyable.

 

Majoring in Statistics, he brings a strong analytical background to his teaching and integrates practical problem-solving approaches into his lessons. Having coded since middle school, Kevin also understands how to connect mathematical thinking to real-world applications in technology and data science. His genuine love for teaching shines through in every session as he creates an engaging and supportive environment that builds confidence and drives success.

Beyond academics, Kevin is a well-rounded individual with a wide array of talents and achievements. He holds a 4th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, demonstrating his discipline, perseverance, and commitment to mastery. As an Eagle Scout, he exemplifies leadership, integrity, and dedication to personal growth and service.

 

In his free time, Kevin enjoys expressing his creativity through music as a producer, engineer, and vocalist — and in the kitchen, where he’s known for his exceptional cooking skills and his signature dish: a perfectly cooked filet mignon. Whether teaching math, making music, coding, or crafting a great meal, Kevin brings focus, passion, and excellence to everything he does.
